Kabale Elderly Community's Concern (KECC) was founded out of a desire to showsolidarity with and address the plight of the elderly facing helplessness due to old age, diseases like hypertension,
heart disease, and diabetes amidst economic hardships. KECC aims to meet the psycho-social, medical, economic, hygienic, and skills development needs of the elderly through various interventions. Incorporated in 2021 as a nonprofit organization, KECC serves as a focal point for providing services, programs, and activities for the senior population in Kabale, Rubanda, Kisoro, Kanungu, Rukungiri and beyond.
